HENNA WORKSHOPS IN SEPTEMBER 
This September I am starting Yvine Design’s first natural henna workshops, where I invite you to discover the beautiful and ancient art of henna — where creativity doesn’t always have to stay on paper or canvas. Sometimes art can be born directly on our skin, as a temporary but meaningful mark that carries beauty, pattern and a story.
Henna designs are an ancient art form that different cultures have used for centuries for festivities, celebrations and special moments. In these patterns, nature-inspired forms, symbols and details meet to create something very personal.
In the henna workshop we explore the principles of creating patterns, learn how henna is used and experiment with how beautiful ornamental patterns can grow out of simple lines, dots and shapes.
In the workshop:
• we get to know natural henna and its properties
• we learn the basics of making henna paste
• we practise classic henna patterns and basic elements
• we learn how to combine patterns
• we make henna designs on ourselves or others
The workshops take place on 18 and 25 September (Fridays), 18:00–20:00
Viimsi Huvikeskus, Nelgi tee 1Prices:
- Adult: €30 until 10 September, then €35
- Child: €25 until 10 September, then €30
- Regular participants, twice a month: adult €20 / session, child €15 / session
Places are limited, so I recommend booking early.
