My name is Yvette Aver, and Yvine Design is my creative world—a place where intricate line work, the depth of color, and the desire to express what words cannot always convey come together.
For many years, ink drawing was my primary artistic language. My flowing, highly detailed illustrations became a way of exploring the inner world of the human experience, the invisible connections that surround us, and the many layers of life itself.
Yet, at one point, I felt called to take my artistic journey even further. A deep desire grew within me to learn the language of color—to allow line to meet light, shadow, and the endless possibilities of painting.
While living in the United States, I completed my first large-scale murals and had the opportunity to attend a multi-day painting workshop in Portland led by the visionary artist Amanda Sage. Those few days profoundly changed the direction of my creative journey.
Her philosophy of exploring the relationships between humanity, nature, and the universe resonated deeply with me. It reflected many of the themes I had been intuitively exploring for years through my ink drawings, while opening the door to an entirely new way of expressing them.
Through this experience, I discovered a new world—the world of color.
I became fascinated by how an infinite spectrum of hues, emotions, and possibilities can emerge from just a few primary colors. I realized that color is far more than a painting technique. For me, it has become a new language—a way of expressing the inner landscapes that have always inspired my work.
Today, this marks the next chapter of my artistic journey.
Through Yvine Design, I am gradually moving from the world of ink drawings to the canvas, bringing together the intricate line work that has shaped my artistic identity with the depth, light, and multidimensional expression that painting makes possible.
My newest paintings are currently taking shape, and this gallery will continue to grow alongside me. Every new piece is part of an ongoing exploration—a journey of discovering how color can express both the inner self and the world around us in ever deeper and more meaningful ways.
